Mohammed has served as President of Alkhorayef Petroleum since December 2017, bringing more than 20 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas industry having worked across the US, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia with Schlumberger. 

Before joining Alkhorayef, Mohammed was Vice President of SIS in Europe and Africa. Prior to that he held a number of senior management positions across an array of business units, including: Marketing & Technology, Technical Consultancy, Operations, Wireline Services, and Geosciences & Petroleum Engineering. 

Mohammed’s academic background includes a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the ISAE-SupAero Engineering School in Toulouse, France and an MSC in Thermal Power from Cranfield University in the UK.

Faisal is the President of Alkhorayef Kuwait and has been with company since 1997 – growing the business from a single product supplier to an Oil & Gas service company that is now a market leader in artificial lift with a broad portfolio of products and services. Faisal also established the early production facilities in Kuwait, which is now one of the largest operations in the group with a value of over 1.5 billion USD. 

Previous roles have included senior management positions in Alkhorayef Commercial Company where he was responsible for signing and tendering various contracts with major oil companies. Faisal has a Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, US.

Khaled joined Alkhorayef as VP Artificial Lift in 2018, with over 16 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry across the US, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia with Schlumberger. Prior to joining Alkhorayef Petroleum, Khaled was Vice President of Marketing and Technology for Artificial Lift, responsible for setting strategic business growth plans. 

Previous roles have included senior management positions across a multitude of areas including Marketing & Technology, Account & Operations, Wireline Services, and Artificial Lift. Khaled holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London. He also holds a degree in Integrated Reservoir Management from the Institute of French Petroleum in Paris, and a Strategic Marketing Degree from Stamford University, USA.

Nelson has served as VP for Latin America since 2011.  With more than 30 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Nelson has worked across the US, Latin America, and Europe with various Baker Hughes companies. Prior to joining Alkhorayef Petroleum, Nelson worked as an RTCS Consultant in Latin America, served as president of Baker Hughes in Rio de Janeiro, and president of Centrlift in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

His previous roles also include senior management positions in Operations, Sales & Marketing, and general Management – where he was recognized for achieving strategic targets despite challenging business and political conditions. Nelson holds BS, Petroleum Engineering degree from Tulsa University, Tulsa, OK.

Bacem joined Alkhorayef Petroleum Company as the Chief Financial Officer in April 2023 with over 20 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas industry across Africa, Europe, Middle East and Asia with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Schlumberger and the Olayan Group. Prior to joining Alkhorayef Petroleum, Bacem was also the Chief Financial Officer of the Northern Middle East region for Schlumberger where he was responsible for the overall finance strategy, treasury, capital investments, compliance, tax, operational performance and talent development.
 
His previous roles included senior finance management positions in Audit, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Treasury Management.
 
Bacem is a certified Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in the United Kingdom. He is also holding a Master degree in Logistical Engineering from the National Engineering School and a Master in Accounting, Tax and Financial Management from the High Business School, both from Tunisia.

Lassad has been the Middle East VP since 2021, prior to this he was Wireline VP & Global Quality and HSE from 2017 to 2020.
Lassaad joined Alkhorayef in 2017, with over 20 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas industry working across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East with Schlumberger.  Prior to joining Alkhorayef, Lassaad served as Integrated Projects Business Development Manager for Saudi, Bahrain, and Kuwait where he oversaw the development of multi-segmented opportunities from creation to final contract award. 

His previous roles include senior management positions in Operations, Sales and Marketing. Lassaad also served as the Vice-Chairman of the North Arabian Gulf IADC Chapter, is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineering and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Supérieure d'Electricite (France).

Taher came to Alkhorayef in 2018 as VP of Africa having gained more than 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry gathered from his cross-product line, and cross-functional assignments in both Eastern and Western Hemisphere postings. 

Taher has held senior cross division positions in Marketing, Engineering, Sales and Operations in North America and North Africa. He also served as Country Director and General Manager for the South Gulf countries with BHGE – eventually becoming the Regional Sales Director for all BHGE divisions. Taher is a member of SPE and is a founding member of the Oceanic Engineering Society–IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) in Houston. He is also the co-founder and elected president of BUSA (Brunei US Association). 

Sitting on the MBA advisory Council for University of Houston and an active Harvard Business School Alumni – Taher holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering from Cairo University and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston. He also holds two further Energy Accounting and Energy Finance post graduate degrees also from University of Houston, as well as an executive degree from Harvard Business School.

Senior Director of R&D, Woon Lee joined the company in 2008 and brings more than 30 years of experience in research and development to Alkhorayef following roles at Schlumberger Reda, Weatherford in the US and CNPC in China.

Woon received both a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea – he also holds an MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Over the course of his career, Woon has published numerous papers and patents through the development of cutting-edge technology for pump, gas separator, gas handling, and other ESP products.
